Kim believes strength in a painting comes from a simplified composition and value structure. These 3 day workshops will emphasize the importance of design and value. Learn how to edit in the field and from photos to strengthen your compositions and concept. We will discuss color temperature changes, edge control and how to subtly lead ones eye through a painting. She will demonstrate in pastel, but welcome artists who paint in oil. Some experience working outdoors recommended.
