Ron, Kevin and I traveled to Butte County to paint the Sutter Buttes. Up at 3am to drive the 3hours to capture the buttes in all their unique glory, only to have them socked in fog the entire day! It wasn't until the sun went down that we actually got to see them. However, I thankfully was able to capture the light as it moved through the trees and lit the tender new grass.
